I’m a data analyst/scientist and astrophysicist in Denver. These days, I do financial data analytics for Comcast, and in the past my projects have used data to understand:

• the intergalactic & circumgalactic media
• active galactic nuclei (AGNs)
• galaxy and galaxy cluster environments and evolution
• observational astronomy across a wide range of wavelength regimes, but especially the ultraviolet

I also have a long history as an educator and member of the scientific community, promoting effective STEM education that creates equitable and inclusive access to science and technology via highly interactive, collaborative, and student-centered teaching that is data-driven and empirically motivated while directly addressing barriers to access and social issues in the STEM community.
